View allI'm really concerned because post-pregnancy, I'm dealing with a fungal infection and blood in my stool. My doctor prescribed me to look at cream and itaspor for the fungal issue and proctosedyl for the piles. I'm also taking iron and calcium tablets. I'm confused and worried because someone mentioned that I shouldn't use proctosedyl while having a fungal infection. Can I use them both at the same time, or should I be avoiding it?

I was diagnosed with uterine fibroids back in May and really don't want to go through surgery. Are there any effective remedies or medicines that can help shrink or melt the fibroids naturally? What options do I have besides surgery?
Fibroids may shrink with GnRH analogs, herbal remedies, or diet changes—surgery is last resort if no improvement.

Why should you not drink tea during menstruation?
All the teas contain some amount of tannic acid which in combination with our food reduces the absorption of iron in the body. So, drinking too much of it during periods may not only lead to malabsorption of iron in the body but may also cause headaches, irritability, insomnia, anxiety, restlessness, nervousness due to the caffeine present in the tea.
