I am a 23 year old girl suffering from XDR lymphatic tuberculosis and I have been on medication for the last 13 months. The medicines are moxifloxacin, clofazimine, delamanid, bedaquiline and cycloserine. I took capreomycin injection for 8 months. My reports are negative now but I am suffering from body ache, weakness in legs and hands, and breathlessness. My period is due in the next 3 to 4 days. Why is this happening and what should I do?

Post treatment fatigue, nerve effects esp. from cycloserine, and anemia or drug side effects could cause this. Breathlessness may need further evaluation. Track symptoms, take high protein diet, check hemoglobin.

Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test or Take a Vitamin B12 Test Test

View allHi, I have been taking tuberculosis medication for 8 months. My recent tests show that I no longer have tuberculosis. However, I have been experiencing a low grade fever of 99 to 99.3F for some time, and today it rose to 101F. Could you please explain the possible causes of this persistent fever and why it might be happening?
