I have been suffering from hair loss and baldness for more than five years. I have visited several dermatologists and completed treatment courses, but the results were not as expected. Many have advised me to undergo a hair transplant, which I do not want because the results vary from person to person and there is no guarantee even after spending a significant amount. If vitamin and thyroid levels are normal and itching has stopped, persistent hair fall may be telogen effluvium or stress related. A dermatology consult and ferritin test may help.
