I get frequent colds. As far as I know, a typical cold lasts up to seven days, but in my case, it lasts for many days. I have had this problem since childhood. I do not know why this happens. Should I go for a medical checkup, or is any test required?

Recurrent colds may point to low immunity or allergies. Chronic sinusitis, allergic rhinitis, or asthma should be ruled out. Nutritional deficiencies like Vitamin D, B12, or Zinc may weaken immune response. An ENT or immunologist consult is advisable. Maintaining hygiene, nasal saline rinse, and allergen avoidance may help.

View allI experience evening shivering, fever, headache, and body pain. My blood report taken on Friday was normal, with no positive results for malaria or typhoid. Still, the fever returns daily in the evening with shivering, and after taking Dolo 650, it calms down for 3 to 4 hours. I started Lumerex 80 mg yesterday. Please advise if hospital admission is required?
