I had a medical abortion in December 2017 and I still have not gotten my periods. I have taken a pregnancy test every month and it has been negative. What should I do and how can I get my periods back?

Absence of periods for this long needs thorough evaluation. Could be Ashermans syndrome (uterine lining scarring) or hormonal suppression. Get a Pelvic Ultrasound to check uterus and endometrium. Do hormone tests: TSH, FSH, Prolactin, and LH. Consult a gynecologist for further treatment like hormonal therapy or hysteroscopy.

I am not married and have never had sexual intercourse, but my period has been delayed for 60 days. I consulted a doctor, who prescribed folic acid and iron tablets for 10 days. It is happening for the first time that my periods are delayed for 1 week. Urine and blood pregnancy tests are negative. Recently a doctor prescribed me vitamin C tablets and now my new doctor prescribed me methylprogesterone acetate tablets twice a day for 5 days. I took 3 tablets till now but my periods have not come yet. What could be the reason?

My age is 41. I am suffering from irregular periods and I am being treated by a gynecologist. This month I missed my period. Pregnancy test is negative.
