I had a UTI and was treated with cefixime 400 mg twice a day for 7 days. Here are the results of my repeat urinalysis: color yellow, transparency slightly turbid, specific gravity 1.010, reaction pH 5.0, sugar/albumin/protein negative, WBC pus cells 8 to 12 hpf, RBC 0 to 2 hpf, epithelial cells moderate, and bacteria few. What does this mean?

Mild elevation of pus cells can remain after UTI treatment. If youre symptom free, no further treatment is needed. Hydration and hygiene help. Recheck if symptoms recur.
