I have been having lower back pain. I took MRI, which showed a mild bulge at L2, L3, and L4. My report mentions spondylitis. I already took a one-month course of calcium and vitamin D3 and also underwent acupuncture treatment, but stiffness and pain persist. I have been suffering from this severe problem for the last 4 years?

Chronic spondylitis needs long term care. Pain & stiffness may persist. Continue physiotherapy, posture care, and possibly see a spine specialist.

View allI recently got a blood test report showing my Vitamin D level as 18.11 ng/mL. I am experiencing fatigue, unusual joint and muscle aches, and back pain. Could these symptoms be due to low Vitamin D? Should I take Vitamin D3 60,000 IU once a week? Please advise what I should do.

My PTH test report shows 22 pg per ml. Is this normal? I have high blood pressure and take 5 mg Amlokind. I also have spondylosis with C2, C3 bulge and C5, C6 degeneration. Additionally, I have a gallstone of 2.9 cm and antral gastritis for the last six months. I am feeling weak now. Kindly advise if my PTH level is normal?
