I have been noticing swelling in my left foot that increases during the day and stays until I go to bed. There is also mild swelling in my right foot. My height is 5 ft 5.5 inches, weight 67 kg, and I am not diabetic (HbA1c is 5). However, my uric acid level is high at 9.4. I consulted a doctor who prescribed Febustat 40, Uprise D3 60K, Supracal HD, and Neurobion Forte. I have been on these medicines for the past two days but have not seen any relief yet. I was also advised to consult a cardiologist. My BP is normal, and I do not have any discomfort otherwise. I walk briskly for an hour every morning, though I am mostly sedentary during the rest of the day. I have been following a Keto diet for almost a year, during which my diabetes reversed and I lost 21 kg rapidly, all within a few weeks. I am now maintaining my weight with the same diet. I would like to get advice from a Keto friendly doctor regarding my swelling issue.

Swelling and high uric acid indicate possible gout/fluid retention. Keto diet may raise uric acid, hydrate well. Continue Febustat, elevate feet. Do KFT, Doppler Ultrasound Legs. See cardiologist if swelling worsens.

Take a KFT with Electrolytes (Kidney Funtion) Test
