I have had two miscarriages, one at 14 weeks and another at 12 weeks. My doctor advised me to do some tests, including APLAS, ELISA, EIA, IgM, and IgG. I have received my reports, but I am not sure how to read them. Please help me understand whether my reports are negative or positive.

Recurrent miscarriage workup often includes APLA, ELISA, EIA for autoimmune or infection related causes. If your report says negative for IgG/IgM antibodies (APA, ANA, etc.), that suggests these are not the cause. If any result says positive or borderline, it needs evaluation by a gynecologist or rheumatologist.

Last week, 1.5 liters of fluid was removed from the space between my lungs. Since then, I have been experiencing rapid weight loss, loss of appetite, bitterness in the mouth, constant fatigue, and a persistent cough. All lab reports have come back normal, and TB has been ruled out, but the doctors have not been able to give a clear diagnosis yet.
