I recently had a blood test, which showed that my vitamin D level is 3.2, indicating a deficiency. Which type of doctor should I consult, and what precautions should I take immediately? I am also attaching my blood test report.

This is severe deficiency. You should consult a general physician or endocrinologist. Usually, high dose vitamin D (like 60,000 IU weekly for 6 to 8 weeks) is prescribed. Also get safe sunlight exposure.

I have been taking Vitamin D3 60,000 IU regularly for the past year. However, for the last two months, I have been experiencing a dull pain in my left abdomen. My recent Vitamin D3 level is 121 ng per mL, and my urine report shows the presence of amorphous phosphates. The recent ultrasound is normal. Could you please advise if this could be due to Vitamin D3 toxicity and what steps I should take next to correct this?

My blood test report of 8 April shows 25 OH Vitamin D 17.3 ng/ml and serum calcium 10.3 mg/dl. It is usually said that vitamin D deficiency causes low calcium, but my calcium is almost high. Could there be another problem? I recently passed a kidney stone. Is it related? Is having sun exposure for 15 minutes every morning enough for vitamin D?
