I suspect I might have a kidney infection. My urine report shows albumin +++, RBCs are plenty, pus cells 3 to 4 per hpf, epithelial cells 1 to 2 per hpf, UBG 1+, BLD plus minus, PRO 3+, and LEU 3+. Could you please guide me on what this indicates and the next steps I should take?

View allI am a 27 year old married working woman. I catch infection again and again and I feel burning sensation and irritation while passing urine. I have taken an antibiotics course and a few days back I had a urine test and this is my report. I am not very convinced with the doctor so I want to consult first. Can anyone tell me why this is happening and how can it be treated so that it will not come back again and again? Please help.

Hello Doctor, My husband got 8 to 10 per high power field epithelial cells in his urine test. He had appendicitis three years ago. He is now getting pain in the lower abdomen. Please tell me, is this a serious condition or is it okay?

My father is 63 years old and he has diabetes. Recently we visited his regular diabetic doctor for a check up and at that time he said my father is having infection in urine and due to this he should avoid salty foods and ghee foods. We followed his instructions. But in the past few days he was suffering from cold and fever. Suddenly we could not take him to his regular doctor for a check up so I took him to a nearby clinic and that doctor advised to do a culture test. I got the results today. I would like to know what is in the results. Is the report normal? I am attaching the lab report for reference. Thank you.
