I was diagnosed with thyroid issues during pregnancy. I delivered in March, and one month later, my TSH was 6.32. My doctor advised me to continue Thyronorm for the next 3 months. Two days ago, I rechecked my thyroid, and my TSH has doubled. I am concerned about whether this will affect my baby, as I am breastfeeding. I have read that thyroid levels can affect a baby IQ, is this true?

A TSH of 6.32 post delivery indicates mild hypothyroidism. Continue Thyronorm daily on empty stomach, same time each day. It does NOT harm your babys IQ if treated properly. Breastfeeding is safe with Thyronorm, it does not pass in harmful amounts.

I am gaining weight drastically and even after following a proper diet I am not able to lose weight. I am having neurological and other problems due to this. I am a 38 years old married female with a 6 years old child. I have attached my recent T3, T4, and TSH test report. I am not getting periods for the last 5 months. UPT is negative.
