I was diagnosed with thyroid issues during pregnancy. I delivered in March, and one month later, my TSH was 6.32. My doctor advised me to continue Thyronorm for the next 3 months. Two days ago, I rechecked my thyroid, and my TSH has doubled. I am concerned about whether this will affect my baby, as I am breastfeeding. I have read that thyroid levels can affect a baby IQ, is this true?

A TSH of 6.32 post delivery indicates mild hypothyroidism. Continue Thyronorm daily on empty stomach, same time each day. It does NOT harm your babys IQ if treated properly. Breastfeeding is safe with Thyronorm, it does not pass in harmful amounts.

I have been suffering from tiredness for the last 20 days. My blood report shows T3 3.17 nmol per L, TSH 11.01 uIU per L, and T4 is normal. My weight is increasing and I feel sleepy all day.
