I'm a bit concerned about my daughter who's 3.5 months old. She recently got the pentavac vaccination and I've noticed some swelling and a lump forming at the injection site. Is this something I should be worried about? Is it a common reaction?

After pentavac vaccination, it is common for infants to experience swelling and lump formation at the injection site. This is a normal reaction to the vaccine. You can give her a dose of acetaminophen (e.g. Tylenol) as per the recommended dosage for her age to help with any discomfort. If the swelling or lump persists or worsens, please consult with your pediatrician.Related Questions
