My blood report shows T3 at 94, T4 at 8.3, and TSH at 8.92. Do I need medical attention? Should I consider any other tests?

Your TSH is elevated, which suggests hypothyroidism. It is best to consult a doctor for possible medication. Your T3 and T4 are within range, so this may be an early stage. No urgent tests are needed, but follow up is important.
Dr. Dhankecha Suggests...
Take a Thyroid Profile (T3 T4 TSH) Test Test or Take a THYROID PEROXIDASE ANTIBODIES (ANTI MICROSOMAL ANTIBODIES) Test

View allI recently had a thyroid function test (T3, T4, and TSH) done, but I am not sure how to interpret the results. My report shows T3: 0.52 ng/mL, T4: 4.70 microgram/dL, and TSH: 2.36 microIU/mL. Could you please tell me if these results indicate a thyroid problem or if they are within the normal range?

My wife is currently taking Thyronorm 75 mcg. Before conceiving, her TSH level was 3. Now, at 5 weeks pregnant, her latest TSH level is 4.73. The reference range for TSH in the first trimester is below 4.5. Could you please advise if this level is a concern and if any changes to her medication or treatment are needed?
