My father has been experiencing fever for the last 3 days. His Widal test report shows S. Paratyphi O antigen at 1:80 and S. Paratyphi H antigen at 1:80. I would like to know if these results are normal or if they clearly indicate typhoid. Please clarify if we need to be concerned.

Widal at 1:80 is borderline. If patient has typhoid symptoms, antibiotics may be needed. If afebrile and improving, monitor.

I have been experiencing continuous headache for the past 4 to 5 days along with intermittent fever. My malaria test is negative, and according to the lab assistant, my typhoid test is positive. Hi Doctor, I traveled for a whole day without sleep, and the next day I felt very weak, with body heat, mild cold, and body pains. My temperature was normal.
