A B12 level of 102 pg/ml is definitely low. Start Methylcobalamin supplements (like 1500 mcg/day). Also include foods like eggs, dairy, and fortified cereals. If severe, a B12 injection (1000 mcg IM weekly) may be advised by your physician.
Dr. Bhanu Suggests...
Take a Vitamin B12 Test Test

View allI am a 27 year old male with functional dyspepsia. Most foods upset me, so I have to follow a restricted diet. I am under treatment, but the medicines do not help much. If I do not take a short sleep between 1 and 4 p.m., I develop headaches, forehead pain, and eye pain, which prevents me from studying in the evening. If I take a one hour nap, these problems do not occur, but it affects my nighttime sleep. It is not possible to nap during the day because I have to attend college. All my blood reports are normal. Please suggest a solution?
