A B12 level of 102 pg/ml is definitely low. Start Methylcobalamin supplements (like 1500 mcg/day). Also include foods like eggs, dairy, and fortified cereals. If severe, a B12 injection (1000 mcg IM weekly) may be advised by your physician.

View allI have been chewing tobacco and gutkha for several years, and over time, my mouth opening has reduced and my jaws have become stiff. I am very concerned and depressed because of this. I am unable to eat spicy food, and I also sweat a lot while eating. Could you please suggest if any ointment can be applied to the inner mouth or jaw area? Also, what tests should I undergo to evaluate this condition?

We had her blood reports checked, and everything, including RFT, is normal. Her legs get stiff at night with a lot of pain.
