My HBsAg quantitative value is 18. What does it mean? My report shows HBsAg quantitative positive value 11.84, HBeAg negative, anti HBe positive value 0.01, and anti HBC IgM negative value 0. Please explain this report.

Your HBsAg and anti HBe positivity indicate chronic hepatitis B carrier status. You may not be infectious, but monitoring is needed. Please do the required HBV DNA and liver function tests for complete assessment.

View allMy husband has had diabetes for one year and was diagnosed with fatty liver 6 months back. Recently, he did HbA1c, which shows 5.5, but random sugar was 177. Lipid profile shows triglycerides 317 and HDL 26. LFT shows conjugated bilirubin 0.6. Vitamin B12 shows 1046. I am very worried about these reports. Please explain if it is okay to have such values or if any further tests are needed to identify the cause of these elevated values. If not, how can these values be lowered?
