My hemoglobin is low, and I am experiencing heavy menstrual bleeding. My gynecologist has suggested removing the uterus. Could you please advise if this is the only option, or if there are alternative treatments to manage heavy bleeding and improve hemoglobin levels?

Heavy bleeding with low hemoglobin can cause anemia and fatigue. Uterus removal is not the only option unless severe fibroids/polyps exist. Try iron therapy and hormone based treatments first. Get a CBC, Pelvic USG, and Iron Studies to reassess.

He is currently taking antibiotics for bacterial infections along with paracetamol, but there has been no improvement. Could you please explain the possible reasons for his condition, what further tests might be needed, and what medications or treatments should be considered?
