My husband and I had unprotected sex on 30th July and took an ipill. After that, we had unprotected sex a couple more times. My period was due on 17th August, but I started feeling dizziness, so I did a home pregnancy test, which showed one dark line and one faint pink line. Does this indicate that I might be pregnant, or could it be a hormonal imbalance due to the i pill? We are not prepared for pregnancy, so I need guidance on what to do next.

A faint second pink line along with a dark control line on your home pregnancy test usually indicates a positive result, even if it is light. Emergency pills like iPill can cause hormonal changes and delay periods, but they are not 100 percent effective. Since your period is due and you are getting a faint positive, repeat a urine pregnancy test after 2 to 3 days for confirmation, or consider a serum beta hCG test for a clear result. Consult your doctor to discuss further options based on the result.

I have been taking Azitheal, Fenza, and AF 150 for a vaginal infection for the past two days due to mild odor. I am trying to conceive and usually have a 24 day menstrual cycle. My last period started on 16th July, and today is the 24th day, but my period has not started yet. Could these medications delay my period, or should I wait for a week before taking a pregnancy test?

I am 6 months pregnant and my urine microscopic examination shows pus cells 5 to 7 and epithelial cells 7 to 10. My doctor has suggested taking Nitrofurantoin SR 100 twice daily for 7 days. My query is whether it is safe to take during pregnancy and should I take it or not.
