My periods are delayed by 12 days, but my pregnancy test result is negative. What could be the reason for this delay, and what should I do? Please suggest.

Delay may be due to stress, hormonal imbalance, or illness. Wait 1 more week, repeat test. If still no period, consult a gynecologist.

View allI am married, and my last menstrual period was on May 9. I usually have a regular cycle of 27 to 28 days. We take proper hygiene measures after intercourse. I have not yet had my period this month. I experienced cramps around my expected date, but my period did not arrive. I took a home pregnancy test on the 34th day, which was negative. It has now been 36 days. Should I wait longer, try period inducing foods, or do heavy workouts? Please advise.

My last menstrual period was on 1st June, and my cycles are usually on time. My period has not yet arrived this month. What should I do, and how many more days should I wait before testing again?
