My periods are delayed by 12 days, but my pregnancy test result is negative. What could be the reason for this delay, and what should I do? Please suggest.

Delay may be due to stress, hormonal imbalance, or illness. Wait 1 more week, repeat test. If still no period, consult a gynecologist.

Could I still be pregnant, and should I take another pregnancy test?
