As per my report, IgE antibody is high. This problem has been there for many years. I have itching in the body which stops after taking Cetirizine and some dark patches in the pelvic area. Please explain in detail?

Elevated IgE levels usually indicate an allergic tendency or chronic skin condition like eczema or atopic dermatitis. If the itching is controlled by Cetirizine, it is likely allergy related. However, dark patches in the pelvic area may need further evaluation for skin changes due to prolonged scratching or other causes. Long term management should be discussed with a dermatologist.

Take a IgE Test Test or Take a ESR Test (Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate) Test

I am a college student and commonly sneeze 3 to 4 times every morning. About 9 months ago, I developed a facial skin problem that became red, swollen, and sometimes oozed yellow fluid. A doctor diagnosed me with eczema and prescribed medicines, which initially helped. However, when the medicines were changed, the problem worsened and spread to other parts of my body. I could not use the medicines for long because they were steroids. This went on for about 7 months. Later, my doctor suggested comprehensive allergy testing and advised stopping all medicines. After stopping, the allergy gradually reduced. The allergy test indicated sensitivity to house dust and cotton dust. Currently, my facial eczema is under control, but my eyes have become red. A doctor suggested it might be conjunctivitis, but they are unsure if it is allergy related. I have had allergic problems since childhood, but they have worsened over the past 9 months. Could you please explain what might be happening and how I can manage these recurring allergies and eye symptoms?

I am having skin allergy only at night for the last one month and was asked to do a blood test. The result of my blood test for allergy shows IgE is 347. In the liver test my total protein is 8, albumin is 4.1, and globulin is 3.9. I want to know if my report is normal?

Dear doctor, attached is my diagnosis report and my latest blood report. Medicines taken are Vitrace cv, Imofetil 500, Anliv 500, Divaine 50 and Effipan. I am a plumbing worker, and I was diagnosed with this disease. The above medicines were taken in different dosages, and during the medication period, I was fine. Due to the recent pandemic, my medicines were completed, and I was not able to visit the doctor. Again, I got itching skin and blisters started on my body, which took me back to my initial condition. Doctor, I do not know why I have not recovered. I have spent a lot of money and consumed many medicines, but still there is no improvement. Please advise. Thanks and regards, Ramesh.
