My Widal test is positive and shows S. Typhi O 1:160 and S. Typhi H 1:320. Am I a typhoid patient? What is the treatment?

A Widal result of S. Typhi O: 1:160 and H: 1:320 may suggest typhoid infection, especially with symptoms (fever, weakness). If taken after 5 to 7 days of fever, its more reliable. You may need a 7 to 10 day antibiotic course (e.g. cefixime, azithromycin prescribed only). Drink plenty of fluids and eat soft, light meals.
Dr. Hema Suggests...
Take a Typhoid Test Test or Take a CBC Test (Complete Blood Count) Test

View allI recently had tests done due to fever. The Widal test showed typhoid positive, but the Typhidot test was negative. My CBC report shows: low RBC, low lymphocytes, low platelet count, low PCV, high MCV, and high MCH. Along with this, I am experiencing consistent pain between my chest and stomach, joint pain, tiredness, and back pain including along the spine. At night, my back pain increases, and when I wake up I feel a lot of pain in my arms, shoulders, back, and legs. The pain reduces when I am active at work, but worsens again when I take rest. Given these test results and symptoms, what could be the possible diagnosis?

My daughter has had typhoid twice. Her first Widal test showed O: 160, H: 80, and the second test showed O: 160, H: 160. The most recent test shows O: 80. Could you please advise if there are any complications for my child and suggest what steps or precautions we should take next?
