My wife and I have been married for 2 years and have not been able to conceive. My semen report shows: Volume: 2 ml Sperm count: 85 million/ml Active sperm: 60 percent Sluggish sperm: 10 percent Dead sperm: 30 percent Are these results normal? My wife tests are all normal. We have tried many times without success. Please suggest what we should do next?

Your semen report is within normal limits. Continue timed intercourse or consider IUI after 6to12 months of trying. Track ovulation. Repeat Semen Analysis and Hormone Panel for confirmation. Wife: check AMH, LH/FSH, TSH, Pelvic USG.
Dr. Shaik Suggests...
Take a FSH and LH Test Test or Take a TSH Test (Thyroid Stimulating Hormone) Test

View allI am a 35 year old man trying for a baby. I have been married for a year and tried for 2 to 3 months. My wife is 33 years old and has normal parameters for conceiving. My semen analysis report shows sperm count per ml is 32 million, total sperm per ejaculate is 128 million, rapid linear progression after half an hour is 20 percent and after 2 hours is 10 percent, and total abnormal spermatozoa is 66 percent. Kindly advise if this report is normal for my wife to conceive or should I start some medications?
