My wife blood test report shows Rubella values: IgG 4.76 and IgM 0.57. Are these values normal before planning a family? Should we be worried about the IgG value, as we have heard that abnormal Rubella values can cause cerebral palsy related problems in the child? We might have already conceived. So my doctor advised me for rubella IgG avidity test. What is the purpose of this avidity test if already my rubella IgG is done and my report is positive?
