She was diagnosed with typhoid on September 1, and although her blood reports now confirm that the typhoid has been cured, she is still experiencing abdominal pain. Despite taking gastric medication, the pain continues. Please advise on what could be causing this ongoing discomfort and what further steps or tests should be considered.

Abdominal pain post typhoid could be residual gut inflammation or gastritis from medication. If it persists, further evaluation is needed. Avoid heavy food and continue light diet.

View allI have been experiencing sticky and loose stools for some time, and over the past week, my food is not digesting properly. My stomach feels full and bloated, and I also suffer from severe acidity. Recent tests show ESR of 20 and C reactive protein of 4.5, and I have attached two other test reports. Could you please advise what might be causing these symptoms and the next steps for diagnosis or treatment?

I was using whey protein, which did not suit me and caused loose stools and two bowel movements per day. I continued using it, thinking my body would adjust, and took it for one month with milk, water, and curd. As a result, I started getting black loose stools. A stool test showed +fiber, +undigested food, and negative for mucus, blood, and infection. I stopped the whey protein and switched back to a normal diet, but the condition did not improve. It has been almost seven months, and now I am getting yellow loose stools. Sometimes the stool is normal, but other times it starts hard and ends loose. Doctors have told me that I have weak intestines. I have also lost weight; previously I weighed 63 kg, and now I weigh 58 kg.
