Sir, I have tested my T3 level and the report shows 2.28. Please advise what medication I should take. Regards, Chandni Agarwal.

T3 level interpretation depends on TSH and T4 levels as well. A T3 of 2.28 on its own is usually within normal range, but please correlate with TSH to decide if thyroid treatment is required. Thyroid medications should be started only after thorough evaluation by a doctor. A thyroid profile including TSH and free T4 is recommended if not already done, to aid in proper evaluation and treatment planning.

A female patient aged 22 years is in the second trimester and her T3 is 1.90 and T4 is 16. I have attached the lab report also. What is the treatment and is Thyronorm 25 mcg okay or should the dose be increased? Kindly help. Thanks in advance.

I have been taking Thyronorm 100 mg for the past 6 years. My test report on 10th July shows T3 108 ng, T4 6.2, and TSH 11.64. Should there be any changes in my medicine? Please help, I am very tired.
