What is SGOT? For me it is showing 42 IU/L which is more than normal in my report. Please explain whether I have any problem? It stands for serum glutamic oxaloacetic transaminase?

SGOT (AST) is a liver enzyme. Mild elevation (like 42 IU/L) is usually not concerning unless persistent. Avoid alcohol, fatty food, monitor if needed.

Dear Sir, please tell us evion LC for liver. My doctor advised me for liver twice a day. Please suggest if any other medicine is needed? My report is attached.

My recent liver function test results are as follows: Total Bilirubin is 1.82 mg per dL AST (SGOT) is 63 IU per L ALT (SGPT) is 156 IU per L An USG report shows a normal liver size but Grade II fatty liver. Could you please advise what medications or lifestyle changes I should follow?
