Why do blood tests have to be repeated every few months?
Answered by 1 Apollo Doctors
The doctor only asks you to repeat the test every few months if the tests are boderline or very high. Then they must be checked routinely to ensure that organs are working fine.

Take a HB, TC, DC, PLATELET, ESR Test or Take a HLA CELIAC DISEASE (DQB1*02, 1*03, DQA1*05;01) Test

View allI had a complete body checkup a few months back and found that my SGOT and LDL cholesterol levels were slightly higher than normal. My report showed SGOT 36 optimal less than 34, SGPT 47 optimal 10 to 49, and LDL cholesterol 109.5 optimal less than 100. I did the same tests again two days ago from a different lab, and the results are SGOT 33 is 15 to 37, SGPT 63 is 16 to 63, and LDL cholesterol 110 is 70 to 180. I am not sure if the biological reference ranges given in both reports are correct, as they are different, and I am unable to understand if my current levels are fine. Can you please tell me the correct levels and if the reports are normal?
