Why do FSH and LH increase in menopause?

When estrogen deficiency occurs in the menopause LH levels increase. Later the FSH is raised and remains high for the rest of life.

View allI have a low sperm count issue and recently had a Doppler test. Both testes and epididymis are normal in size, location, and echotexture. No focal lesion is seen and no free fluid is noted in the tunica vaginalis on either side. Both spermatic cords appear normal with no dilated vascular channels. No evidence of torsion is noted on Doppler interrogation of the testes and spermatic cords. Reversal of flow on Valsalva maneuver is noted in the left spermatic cord, grade I. No reflux is noted on the right side. The conclusion is left sided grade I varicocele. I have attached both semen analysis and Doppler reports. No other abnormality is seen. Please help me.

I have a history of PCOS. On day 15 of my cycle, my follicle size in the right ovary was 14 by 10 mm, and I also had an FSH test done on the same day. After 3 days, I went for a repeat scan, and the report showed no dominant follicles. What does this mean?
