Question
I've been struggling with this issue for a while now and it's really worrying me. So, a couple of years ago, I had loose motions because of the water and I took Norflox Tz. It helped, but after finishing the course, I ended up with really bad constipation and bleeding which caused fissures. I've been trying probiotic milk, it's helped a bit, but the bleeding hasn't really gone away. Now it's been two years, and even though I eat healthy and drink lots of water, I'm still dealing with this. Is there a way to fix this, or could it be permanent?

To help with your current symptoms, you can try using a stool softener like Colace (Docusate) to make bowel movements easier and reduce straining. Additionally, you can use a topical cream like Anusol-HC to help with the pain and inflammation from the fissures. For long-term management, you may benefit from a prescription medication like Lactulose solution to help regulate your bowel movements and prevent constipation. It is important to continue consuming probiotics and maintaining a healthy diet with plenty of fiber and water. If the bleeding persists, it is advisable to consult with a gastroenterologist for further evaluation and management.
