Can you help me understand the results of my fecalysis? The color's dark brown and the consistency is mushy. There's a note about microscopic pus cells at 02 HPF and red cells at 01 HPF, but it says no parasites or ova. It mentions many bacteria too. I'm wondering if everything looks normal to you.

The reports of your fecal analysis are predominantly normal, with no presence of parasites or ova. There is however an increased bacterial count in your report, which may be indicative of an infection, depending on your symptoms.

View allI've been dealing with lax esophagitis and pangastritis for 10 years and have been on PPIs the whole time. The side effects from the meds are getting to me should I consider surgery or stick with the PPIs?
Long-term PPI use for esophagitis may cause side effects. Anti-reflux surgery (like fundoplication) is considered when lifestyle and medicines fail.

Is Hepatitis A STD?
Transmission of hepatitis A virus can occur from any sexual activity with an infected person and is not limited to fecal-oral contact. People who are sexually active are considered at risk for hepatitis A if they are MSM, live with or are having sex with an infected person, or inject drugs.

My stomach has been hurting for the past three days. It's like these cramps and sharp pains that come and go every day, lasting about 5 to 10 seconds before it goes back to normal. Do you have any idea what might be causing this? Could it be related to some kind of gastro issue? What can I do at home to feel better?
It sounds like you might be experiencing mild gastrointestinal discomfort, possibly due to indigestion, gas, or even a mild stomach infection. Try taking an over-the-counter antacid or anti-gas medication, drink warm water, and avoid heavy or spicy foods. If the pain persists or worsens, its best to consult a doctor to rule out other causes.
