Can your SpO2 levels drop even if you don't have a fever? Like, is it possible for the levels to go down without experiencing a fever first? I'm curious about this because I don't have an oximeter to check.

Yes, SpO2 levels can drop in a 23-year-old male even without the presence of a fever.

Key points to understand:

  1. SpO2 (oxygen saturation) measures how much oxygen your blood is carrying as a percentage of the maximum it could carry.
  2. A drop in SpO2 can occur due to various reasons unrelated to fever: a. Respiratory issues like asthma or mild infections. b. Environmental factors such as high altitude or poor air quality. c. Temporary conditions like breath-holding or shallow breathing.
  3. Underlying health conditions like anemia, heart problems, or lung diseases can also cause lower oxygen levels without causing a fever.

If you notice consistently low SpO2 readings or symptoms like shortness of breath, dizziness, or chest discomfort, consult a healthcare professional for proper evaluation. Remember, a single low reading might not be concerning, but persistent or very low levels should be checked. Monitoring your symptoms alongside SpO2 readings helps provide a clearer picture of your health status.

I'm really worried and need some advice. So, there's this situation where someone was treated for MDR for about a year and a half with pulmonary TB. Now, it looks like they're also dealing with lymph node TB. I'm curious, could this mean there's a chance of having MDR again?

Yes.

I've been dealing with an allergic bronchial cough for the past 12 years. It tends to get really bad during the winter months, and this time it kicked off around November. I usually dont find much relief with medicines or inhalers, but I tried Ascoril plus syrup recently, and surprisingly, there's been some improvement. I'd say the cough is about 50% better, and I'm hoping it continues to help. I've been taking 10 ml of it, three times a day, for the last three days. Im just a bit worried about how long I can safely continue to use this medicine and what the proper dosage should be. Also, I've noticed some tremors in my hands after starting it. Can you provide guidance on this?

take 5ml thrice a day for 1 week ,if to continue you can use it for 1 week more

I'm dealing with pulmonary TB and my doctor has included Benadon 40mg in my treatment plan. I'm a bit worried because I'm not sure what would happen if I accidentally took two doses of Benadon at once. Could it cause any problems or side effects?

Ideally nothing happens for once, but better be cautious further
