Dear Sir, I have chikungunya since 2 days. My CBC report shows MCHC 34, Neutrophils 89, Lymphocytes 6, PDW 16, WBC 6499, and Platelet count 260000. My main symptoms are burning on the tongue and throat due to difficulty in eating. What treatment should I take and what is the reason for burning on the tongue and throat? Is it due to the virus or medication? I also have joint pain and sometimes fever.

Burning in the tongue and throat during chikungunya can occur due to viral infection or dehydration. Some medications used for fever and pain may also cause acidity, leading to throat discomfort. Continue hydration with warm water and soft foods, and avoid spicy foods. Joint pain is common in chikungunya and may persist for weeks. You can book an LFT and Kidney Function Test to monitor organ health during recovery. If burning worsens or you develop severe weakness, consult your doctor.

View allI have been noticing a strong smell in my urine, latrine, and certain foods, especially fish and chicken for the past 2 months. I do not think this is psychological. I also have chronic digestion issues. I had blood tests a few months ago and kidney function was normal, but SGOT and SGPT levels were elevated. My fasting blood sugar was around 102 mg/dL, and my cholesterol was high at 240 mg/dL. My weight is 63 kg, height 5 ft 7 in, and I am 24 years old.

I am not taking alcohol, oils, spices, or outside food since 20th November. At that time, my platelets were around 46k. Now they are over 1 lakh. Suddenly, my total bilirubin increased to 5. I started a Joinex related diet with more liquids, vegetables, and fruits, and I am still on it, but it is not coming down. Today the report shows bilirubin 6.49. What could be the reason and what should I do?

Hello doctor I have been facing digestion issues for the past 2 years. Initially I had grade A esophagitis but now it is cured. My digestion problem is almost 80 percent cured but I have noticed that almost every day I feel vibration and bloating in my stomach especially around 1 30 AM to 3 AM. This does not happen if I am not sleeping. I also have fatty liver. My weight is 68 kg and height is 151 cm. Please review my report and let me know if this is a serious issue or not? Thank you in advance.
