View allI've been having a tough time with this back muscle catch for the last three days. It's really making it hard for me to turn, bend, or even get a good night's sleep lying flat. I'm starting to worry because I have some family events coming up and I really need to be in good shape for them. Are there any treatments or home remedies you can suggest to help me out?
It sounds like you may be experiencing muscle spasms in your back. To help relieve the pain and improve your mobility, you can try taking a muscle relaxant such as Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) 10mg three times a day. Additionally, you can use over-the-counter pain relievers like Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500mg every 6 hours as needed for pain. For home remedies, you can apply a heating pad to the affected area for 15-20 minutes several times a day to help relax the muscles. Gentle stretching exercises and massages can also be beneficial in relieving muscle tension. Make sure to get plenty of rest and avoid activities that worsen the pain. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional for further evaluation and treatment.

I had an ACL tear and heard about PRP treatment but I'm not sure if it's a permanent fix or if I'll eventually need arthroscopy surgery what would you recommend for long-term recovery
PRP therapy can be a valuable tool for ACL tear recovery, especially in the initial stages and for smaller tears, but it's not a permanent solution and may not be effective for all patients. ACL reconstruction surgery is often necessary for restoring full knee stability and function, especially if you have a complete tear or experience persistent instability.
