I'm only 52 inches tall and everyone in my family is taller than me even my siblings and parents. I also have bow legs which make me look even shorter. Are there any treatments like growth hormones or surgery that could help me grow taller and how much would they cost? I've been feeling really hopeless about this and don't know which doctor to see for help

I've been having a tough time with this back muscle catch for the last three days. It's really making it hard for me to turn, bend, or even get a good night's sleep lying flat. I'm starting to worry because I have some family events coming up and I really need to be in good shape for them. Are there any treatments or home remedies you can suggest to help me out?

It sounds like you may be experiencing muscle spasms in your back. To help relieve the pain and improve your mobility, you can try taking a muscle relaxant such as Flexeril (cyclobenzaprine) 10mg three times a day. Additionally, you can use over-the-counter pain relievers like Tylenol (acetaminophen) 500mg every 6 hours as needed for pain. For home remedies, you can apply a heating pad to the affected area for 15-20 minutes several times a day to help relax the muscles. Gentle stretching exercises and massages can also be beneficial in relieving muscle tension. Make sure to get plenty of rest and avoid activities that worsen the pain. If your symptoms persist or worsen, it is important to consult with a healthcare professional for further evaluation and treatment.

I'm 21 and have bow legs with a 4-inch gap between my knees. There's no pain when I walk and my walking seems normal. Are there any non-surgical ways to fix or improve this condition?

Bow legs is a structural problem that affects the shape of the bone and must be addressed fundamentally. Surgical correction is the only way to permanently straighten bow legs. The surgery needed depends on the age of the patient and on the severity of the bowing.
