Hi, I recently did a regular health check up, and my LDL cholesterol is high. I have attached the report for reference. Could you please advise whether I should consult a doctor for further evaluation, or can I try lifestyle modifications for some time before seeking medical advice?

If LDL cholesterol is high but other reports are normal, lifestyle modification is the first step. Start with 30 mins of exercise, fiber rich diet, and avoid fried/processed food. No need for immediate medication unless LDL is very high or other risks like diabetes, family history, or BP exist. Repeat your Lipid Profile after 3 months of diet and exercise changes to track progress.

View allOne month back, I experienced a blackout while sitting in a bus. The doctor prescribed medicine after seeing high cholesterol: ROSEDAY 10. The doctor advised me to revisit after one month with an echo, lipid profile, and HUTT test. I am fine now. Please advise what I should do next?

Hi, I recently had a blood test, and the results show: Slightly higher levels of LDL Cholesterol (Direct), Triglycerides, HbA1c, and High Sensitivity C Reactive Protein (hs CRP) Slightly lower levels of Monocytes (Absolute Count) and Mean Corpuscular Hemoglobin Concentration (MCHC) I would like a holistic analysis of these results and recommendations based on my report. If any further tests are needed, I am willing to get them done. Also, I am unsure whether I should consult a General Physician or a Dietician/Nutrition Specialist.
