Hi, my wife is 4 months pregnant and according to her LFT test report, SGOT is 40.16 and SGPT is 53.17. What is the impact of this on the growth of the fetus and how can these levels be reduced? Thanks.

Mildly raised liver enzymes can occur in pregnancy. Ensure no fatty liver, gallbladder issues, or hepatitis. Maintain hydration and avoid high fat foods. Monitor levels regularly.

My SGPT level is 136 (normal range 21 to 72) and my SGOT level is 69 (normal range 17 to 59) according to the lab report. Is this a matter of concern? What treatment should I consider?

I just received my blood report, which shows SGOT/SGPT levels of 42 and 45.36. What do these values mean? I am currently in the 8th month of pregnancy and hoping for a normal delivery. I have also been diagnosed with gestational diabetes and high blood pressure during this pregnancy. Could you please advise if these liver enzyme levels are concerning and what I should do next?
