How many liters of water should I drink in jaundice? I am taking boiled water. My SGPT is 150, SGOT 53, and bilirubin 4.

During jaundice, you should drink at least 2.5 to 3.5 litres of water daily, and it is great that you are using boiled water. This helps flush toxins and supports liver recovery. Your SGPT of 150 and bilirubin of 4 suggest liver inflammation, so continue a bland, low fat, high fluid diet. Avoid alcohol, fried food, and excess protein. Repeat your LFT in 7 to 10 days to monitor improvement.

View allI recently underwent a 61 point detailed health checkup. Most of my results were within the normal range, except for bilirubin in the liver function test, which came out to 2.53 mg/dL (normal range: 0 to 2.0 mg/dL).

Hi doctor I am suffering from fatty liver problem. Please check my report attached and suggest me. Please also tell me if it is NAFL or AFL and provide a diet plan?

I am not taking alcohol, oils, spices, or outside food since 20th November. At that time, my platelets were around 46k. Now they are over 1 lakh. Suddenly, my total bilirubin increased to 5. I started a Joinex related diet with more liquids, vegetables, and fruits, and I am still on it, but it is not coming down. Today the report shows bilirubin 6.49. What could be the reason and what should I do?
