Cosmetic limb lengthening surgery in India, particularly in Bangalore, can cost anywhere from approximately ‚Çπ5,00,000 to ‚Çπ15,00,000 (around $6,000 to $18,000 USD). The procedure itself takes a few hours, and the total duration of the process, including the lengthening and bone consolidation stages, can take several months

I've had this small lump near my elbow for about three years now. It's about 2cm and gets painful if I press on it. I'm noticing it might be slightly bigger, but it's still not really visible to others. Do you think I should consider surgery for this?

It sounds like the lump might be a benign growth like a cyst or lipoma, especially if it's been there for years and is causing mild pain. Since it's growing in size and causing discomfort, its best to consult with a doctor to assess whether surgery is necessary.

I have L5 disc degeneration and my doctor recommended surgery, but I'm trying to avoid it for now. I've done 10 physiotherapy sessions with no relief yet. Do you think Ayurveda, homeopathy, or acupuncture could help manage the pain and improve my condition? I'm really worried about going under the knife and want to explore other options first.

I've had a completely dissolved left hip joint for the past 13 years, which has made my left leg about one and a half inches shorter than my right. I just had a baby via C-section and am currently breastfeeding. When would be a safe time for me to get hip replacement surgery? Walking has become really difficult for me lately.

If you have recently delivered a baby through C section, you should wait for atleast three months to allow the body to recover. Even after three months, your blood tests and other investigations should be done and surgery should be performed only if you are medically fit for the same. Hip replacement is not an emergency and is an elective procedure. When performed by a Joint replacement surgeon/ Fellowship trained Orthopaedic surgeon, you will get excellent long term results.
