I had an accident yesterday where my knee gave out while walking. The hospital did an MRI and the report shows a near full thickness tear in my anterior cruciate ligament. Should I consider surgery or can physiotherapy help heal it? I've attached the MRI report for reference.

I've been walking for a month now, but the pain in my ankle is getting worse. Could this be related to how the fibula heals? I've attached my x-ray for reference.
