Had ACL reconstruction surgery a month ago and my periods are late my last cycle started right before the surgery. Normally, my next cycle comes around 45 days early. Could the anesthesia or strong meds from the surgery be causing this delay?
Yes, it's possible that the surgery, anesthesia, or medications could be contributing to your late period. Surgery and anesthesia induce stress, which can affect hormone levels and menstrual cycles. The strong pain medication used after surgery could also have an effect. It's advisable to discuss this with your doctor to assess the cause of the delay and rule out any other potential factors

My mom broke the radius and ulna bones in her right hand and the doctor recommended a small surgery with rod alignment plates but she's diabetic is there a better treatment option we should consider
For diabetic fracture patients, internal fixation remains preferred; glycemic control reduces surgical risks.
