Question
I had laser surgery for grade IV hemorrhoids 20 days ago but there's still some swelling near my anus that feels like a hemorrhoid. Is this normal or should I be concerned? How long does it usually take for the swelling to go away completely after this type of surgery?

Post-hemorrhoid laser swelling at 20 days is common.Swelling usually subsides within 4–6 weeks. If pain or discharge persists, consult your surgeon.
