I have 2.50 vision in both eyes and really want to get rid of my glasses. Are there any non-surgical ways to improve my eyesight naturally? I've heard about eye exercises and diet changes do those actually work or is surgery the only option?

For vision improvement, non-surgical methods like eye exercises and diet changes might help reduce strain, but they rarely eliminate the need for glasses. Surgery like LASIK is the most effective option for myopia correction.

View allI had LASIK surgery three days ago and now there's a blood clot in my right eye that seems to be getting bigger. The doctor says it's normal but I'm worried because it's not improving. Should I be concerned or is this really part of the healing process?
While subconjunctival hemorrhages (blood clots in the eye) are common after LASIK surgery and generally harmless, it's important to monitor the blood clot and follow up with your doctor if you have concerns, especially if it's getting larger or not improving. It's possible the doctor's assessment of "normal" is based on the early stages of healing, but a larger or worsening clot could indicate a different issue.

My right eyelid is swollen with a pus-filled lump that's turned into a hard mass. The doctor recommended surgery but I want to try meds first. I've been taking gate df eyedrops, rabikind dsr, fynal 500, and zypore for 3 days but the lump hasn't reduced much. Should I switch meds or is surgery the only option now?

Can an OCT scan detect retinal scars if someone has cataracts or does the cataract block the view of the retina
While cataracts can sometimes obscure the view of the retina during a standard eye exam, an OCT scan can often detect retinal scars even in the presence of cataracts, though the clarity of the scan may be reduced. Cataracts can scatter and block light, making it harder to visualize the retina directly, but OCT uses light waves that can penetrate some degree of cloudiness. If the cataract is very dense, however, OCT imaging may be limited, and alternative methods like ocular ultrasound might be needed.
