I have a 5mm umbilical hernia and I'm not sure how serious it is do I need surgery for something this small? Can I still do light abdominal exercises or lift my 15-month-old baby without making it worse? Is there any chance it might heal on its own with exercise?

View allIt's been 45 days since my open wound surgery and I still have yellowish pus oozing out even though I'm doing daily dressings and taking antibiotics why is this happening and should I be worried
Yellowish pus oozing from a wound, even after 45 days of surgery and with antibiotic treatment, is a sign of infection and should be addressed by a healthcare provider. It's important to seek medical advice as this could lead to serious complications if left untreated.

I've been dealing with a right irreducible inguinal hernia where the pain starts in my lower abdomen and goes all the way to my right scrotum and testis. This has been going on for about 8-9 months, with episodes lasting 6-7 days every 2-3 months. My doctor recommended immediate surgery, but I'm wondering if there are other options like homeopathy or any alternative treatments that could help instead of going under the knife right away
An irreducible inguinal hernia where pain radiates down to the scrotum and testis likely indicates an incarcerated hernia. This means the hernia is trapped and cannot be pushed back into the abdomen, and the trapped tissue is causing pain and potentially compromised blood flow. This requires immediate medical attention, as a strangulated hernia (where the trapped tissue loses blood supply) can be life-threatening

I've been dealing with some discomfort and weight gain since my laparoscopic surgery for an inguinal hernia about 3.5 months ago. I often feel pain where the hernia was and sometimes there's this stretching sensation near the stitches. I'm really looking for some advice on how to lose this extra weight and I'm also curious about when these symptoms might ease up. What would you suggest?
it will reduce
