I have had a fever for the last 3 days, and today my report confirmed typhoid. I also feel heaviness in my chest but have no other symptoms. I am eating properly, sleeping well, taking steam, and doing gargles. Please guide me on how to recover quickly.

Typhoid can present with chest discomfort due to body aches or mild gastritis. Continue prescribed antibiotics (typically cefixime/azithromycin) and hydrate well. If breathing difficulty or rising fever persists, repeat blood culture and chest exam are needed.

I had a fever last week (not continuous) along with a slight, constant headache for 3 to 4 days. After the fever broke, I did a blood test at a private clinic the next day. The Widal test report showed 1/160 Typhi O positive. The doctor prescribed Rabasec D SR, Cefixime, and Ofloxacin for 10 days, saying it was a slight case of typhoid. Is this treatment appropriate?
