I have a slight ACL tear and some knee swelling do I need surgery for this or can it heal with physiotherapy alone? What would you recommend for recovery?

While some ACL tears may heal without surgery through rehabilitation and bracing, others require surgical intervention for complete recovery. The best approach depends on the individual's condition and lifestyle.

View allI had an ACL tear and heard about PRP treatment but I'm not sure if it's a permanent fix or if I'll eventually need arthroscopy surgery what would you recommend for long-term recovery
PRP therapy can be a valuable tool for ACL tear recovery, especially in the initial stages and for smaller tears, but it's not a permanent solution and may not be effective for all patients. ACL reconstruction surgery is often necessary for restoring full knee stability and function, especially if you have a complete tear or experience persistent instability.

I recently got an MRI for a knee injury from playing sports and it shows a partial ACL tear at the femoral attachment, along with some changes in the medial meniscus, bone contusion in the tibial condyle, and mild joint effusion. Will this heal on its own or do I need physiotherapy or even surgery? What's the best treatment plan for this kind of injury?
Partial ACL tears and meniscal changes often improve with physiotherapy—surgery only if instability or pain persists.

I've been looking into limb lengthening surgery to increase height and heard doctors prescribe bone growth medication during the process. Since the surgery involves breaking the bone and letting it regrow in the gap, I'm wondering if taking those same medications without surgery could still help bones grow and increase height naturally. I'm 39 years old is that even possible at my age?
No medicine can increase your height without surgery. If you are determined to increase your height then you have to go with limb lengthening surgery. But I also warn you it is not a easy surgery and chance of post operative pain and complications are high
