This could be fungal infection u need to evaluate with your Dermatologist and get appropriate treatment with oral antifungal medications and topical lotions,once the infection is resolved your hair fall would come down,I suggest you not to use minoxidil with active fungal infection,above this your personal hygiene care is more important.

I've been using cadiderma cream for a month now and switched to dermiford cream about a week ago. But I still have these red itchy spots and the itching just won't stop. What could be causing this, and is there something else I should be doing?

You have take specific care towards rash regarding hygiene and clothes, visit Dermatologist and get appropriate topical and oral medicines for rash and itching, visit Dermatologist as soon as possible
