I recently got a blood test report showing my Vitamin D level as 18.11 ng/mL. I am experiencing fatigue, unusual joint and muscle aches, and back pain. Could these symptoms be due to low Vitamin D? Should I take Vitamin D3 60,000 IU once a week? Please advise what I should do.

Yes, Vitamin D less than 20 is deficient and may cause your symptoms. You can take 60,000 IU once weekly for 6 to 8 weeks after consulting your doctor.

View allFor the past two months I have been having an internal pain in both my knees. My blood report is normal and there is no external swelling or redness. However, I feel internally as though my knees are numb and in spite of doing basic exercises I feel a pressure on my knees while walking. This problem persists throughout the day, making it difficult for me to even walk. As of the past two months I have been facing problems in walking and hence I take rest at home. The orthopaedic doctor checked my knees externally and said there is no problem. I request you to suggest the remedy that I should do to cure this problem as I am in deep pain. Thank you.

I have an avulsion fracture that has not healed even after 7 weeks in plaster. I recently did blood tests, which showed low vitamin D levels. I have started taking vitamin D tablets.
