I was diagnosed with fistula in ano back in 2015 and had open surgery for it in June that year, but I'm still dealing with issues like itching, bleeding, and irritation around my anus. I also struggle with constant constipation. What could be causing these problems to persist even after surgery, and what can I do to finally get relief?

View allI've had piles without bleeding for 5 years but developed a fistula problem in the last three months. There's also a lump formed with my piles now. The fistula keeps leaking pus - can this heal without surgery?
Anal fistulas, once they develop, generally require surgical intervention for a definitive cure, according to the NHS. While in rare cases, fistulas might close up on their own, they often recur if left untreated, leading to infections and abscesses. Your situation, with a newly developed fistula and pus discharge, strongly suggests a need for surgical treatment, as fistulas rarely heal spontaneously

I've been dealing with this boil-like swelling near my anus for the past three days, and it's been really uncomfortable. I'm a bit worried and wondering what might be causing this. What treatment should I consider to help it heal?
A boil-like swelling near the anus could be a perianal abscess, an infected anal gland, or a pilonidal cyst; possible causes include bacterial infection, clogged anal glands, or ingrown hairs; treatment typically involves antibiotics, pain management, and warm compresses, but in some cases, surgical drainage or incision may be necessary;

I'm experiencing pain when I use the toilet, and I'm worried it might be bawasir. I'm really anxious about this because I'm trying to join the defense, and I know an operation could easily be noticed in the medical exam. I really don't want surgery to affect my chances. Could you guide me on what I should do now?
