I'm a bit confused because all the tests like the Mantoux, AFB sputum culture, and Genexpert sputum have come back negative, but the CT scan and x-ray are showing something concerning. We've done the AFB sputum test twice with a good sample, and it's negative both times. However, there's still a light cough, but the saliva seems normal. What could be causing this? Should we be worried or consider any other possibilities? Would appreciate any advice you can offer.

View allI'm having some trouble with my breathing, and my nose feels really blocked. It's also making me feel kind of nauseous. Plus, there's this sharp pain when I touch the upper right part of my chest. I went to the doctor, and he gave me antibiotics and something for asthma, and that helped a lot. But I'm wondering, could my smoking, about five cigarettes a day, be making this worse? Should I be worried about any long-term effects?
Yes,continue same treatment as advised by the physician.

I'm dealing with bronchial asthma and have been using Foracort 400 daily. I'm worried though, are there any potential problems or side effects from using it every day? I'd really appreciate some advice on this.
Foracort 400 is generally safe for managing bronchial asthma if used as prescribed by your doctor. Long-term use may cause side effects like oral thrush, hoarseness, or mild systemic effects, so regular check-ups are essential. Always rinse your mouth after use to minimize side effects.
